Wednesday November 2...pms ftw!

Tuesday again?  How do the weeks fly by?!?  So this week, I have all grand plans to eat well, and not drink (too much) red wine during the week.  We have a big event this Saturday and I wanna be able to dress all up and feel good!  I'm also pms'ing this week so I'm bloated and gross and grumpy so we'll see how it goes!  Today I'm going for comfort!  Stretchy, soft, elastic!  Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

So my stretchiest softest leggings, gray tank, soft black super stretchy ruched shirt from Nicole and flat over the knee suede boots.

My necklace.  I added the little bird on there.  I used to also have a bigger bird that I wore on just a chain but my friggen kids snapped it's wings off....soooo....speaking of wings....

Just little bat wings.

The feather earrings.  And a little gray bow but you can't really see it.

And the boots.  Over the knee.  Flat.  Comfy.  Like little suede hugs for my legs!





Friday November 4th....I believe I can fly.

It's Friday.  Which feels like Saturday.....which feels like my week should be over....but no.  Sadly it's not.  Today, another score of a free shirt!  This shirt is a new fav actually.  It's amazing.  The fabric feels great on and it's a hint of see through and you can dress it up or down....and you don't even feel like you have to suck in your gut!  Win!

 I've also worn this shirt with a skirt in the summer.  I wore a bandeau bra underneath and pulled the top down so my shoulders were both exposed and tucked it into a little black mini skirt and wore a cute wide belt.  Super versatile.

The bat wings.  The material is so flowey though that they hang nice enough that they're not really obvious bat wings.

Tried to get a close up of the pattern and so you can see that it is sheer in some places.  Yes, that's my bra through it!  I know, i'm sooo out there.

So the moral of the story is.....if you're cleaning out your closet, or have stuff that you don't want/wear/need anymore, pass it on to me! 

Thursday Nov 3 feels like pleather day to me!

Th th th thursday.  Today I wore what I thought was a pretty normal outfit.  Nothing too daring.  I also am just realizing that this will be my first pleather legging post?  I think?  Which is odd cause I practically sleep in those things.  Actually Halloween might have been my first.....anyways!  What was my point??  Oh ya....so I thought I was being all non-exciting.  My husband comes to the shop and says "Woah.  Nice shirt thing." (of course he's confused by the top cause it's long enough to be a dress, but i'm wearing leggings which are like pants sooo.....ahh men right?) so I reply "yes, I got it from the lovely Nicole at work who is too tall to wear it like a dress, yet it's too long to be a shirt so it's at a funny length.....thankfully i'm short!" and he says "well isn't it a little crazy!?!" and I'm all "wtf?" and he's all "it has THREE completely different colours on it!" and then i'm all proud of myself cause I was wearing three whole colours and not even feeling strange!

Okay okay okay.  So I failed to mention the three colours were black, white and tan.  SUE ME!  But look!  Just look!  They are big chunks of colour....and ASYMMETRICAL!  I'm growing!  I'm learning!  If this has taught me anything it's give me free clothes and I will wear them!

Look at all those chunks of colours!  Look at the one white sleeve, one black sleeve!  Cowl neck even....oh my!

Now I tried to get a good pic of the leather/pleather leggings....the lighting wasn't awesome.  But they are shiny and vinyl looking.  I adore them.  I even had a guy reach out and grab the leg of them to see what the heck they were even made of or felt like.  I had someone else politely ask to feel them too so it goes both ways!

You wanna reach out and grab them?  Or are you more polite and ask to cop a feel?

Wednesday Nov 2 starts off with a small lie.

I've been off since Saturday.....well, I worked a smidge on Tuesday but it was late at night and dark and I was pretty uninspired.  Okay okay okay....truth??  I wore the same thing on Tuesday as I did on Wednesday.  *GASP*  So here's the story.....I stayed in my pj's ALL day on Tuesday because I had some cancellations etc so I spend the day getting stuff done at the house blah blah blah....so I changed just in time to go to work for my client at 4:30 and then for my other client at 6pm.  So I was at work from 4:30-9pm.  Now my 2 clients are the only ones who saw me....except Gill...but she was only around for half hour or so.  And I did ask her opinion the next morning if I could get away with wearing the same thing again and this is what she said...

Me "I can wear the same thing I wore

yesterday right?  That didn't really

count as work right?"

Gill "Yes you may...strictly cuz I saw you

less then 4 hours and im nearly positive you wore your pjs

up until the point you had to leave the house"

So there you have it.  So here's my Tuesday Wednesday outfit!

Okay now before you get all up in my grill about it being a staple outfit....in my defence, I was wearing a lovely dress underneath the black baggy shirt!  It was colourful and patterned.  But it was REALLY cold at work (I even have clients who can stand behind me on that!) so I wore the black over it to stay warm.  It was a survival tactic, not just a comfort in black thing.  Sooo....

This is the pattern.  It's more green....but alas, it was dark when I took the pic and I used my flash on my iphone, which sucks.

Here's the dress SANS black thing on top!  See...I would have froze!  So you're all welcome that I thought ahead to cover up a bit.

I even wore a cutsey purple leather bow in my hair!  Feather earring and cat eyes!  Meow!





HALLOWEEN SHITSHOW!

IT'S TIME! 

Halloween!  My favorite time of the year!  This year a group of us decided to go as KISS.  You all know I love the rock star look so we had a blast with it!!

So my KISS of choice was StarChild....aka Paul Stanley.

Here's the entire group!  That's my husband as Spaceman believe it or not!

And practicing "the pose".  I did have fringe on my gloves too but it was softer so it didn't stick out with my arms up!  And the boots I crafted myself!  I'm wearing a bodysuit from American Apparel as well as the leggings from there.

These boots are the craftiest things i've ever made!!

What did you dress up as for Halloween??

I can't feel my vagina... on Saturday Oct 29th.

It's backwards day!  Instead of my usual flowy top and tight bottoms....I'm doing a skin tight top and baggy bottoms!  I know right?  Craziness!  So tonight we're going out for Halloween.....and I have to wear a bodysuit....so I thought I'd practice wearing a bodysuit all day but re-wearing my one from ThanksKissing!  Paired this with some slouchy boyfriend jeans and voila!  I got the idea for this combo from Gillian who saw one of the MTV hosts wearing a similar outfit....only she was wearing the identical bodysuit that I bought for my KISS Halloween costume.

Now at this point I'm hoping my bodysuit for tonight is stretchier....and softer.  This one is made of super crazy thick 80's spandex and it's seriously cutting off the circulation to my vagina.  Seriously.



I did wear my bright scarf for most of the day too....I know it doesn't look bright in this picture but it's like neon colour print on black....pinks and yellows and purples....

The jeans.....silvers and comfy as HECK!!!!!!!
