Leap Day! Wed Feb 29th feels like an animal print kinda day!

Leap day!  And I forgot to get pics at work!  So I recreated the outfit the next morning before actually getting ready for work.  My head is cut off cause I didn't wash my face or do my hair first.  You also have to use your imagination and imagine my Browns black boots with the buckles and my favorite dangle earrings that I wear ALL the time...you know, the silver ones with the hoops with the chains and black beads dangling off of it?  Yeah, those ones!  So the main reason I had to recreate this is cause the shirt is a thrift store find and I love me a good thrift store find!!!  And ignore my messy closet!

So the shirt is just slouchey and comfy and a great print!  Who doesn't love a zebra??

Wednesday Jan 25...what's old is new!

And it's Wednesday Jan 25th already!!  I'm re-wearing some old favourites.  Mainly cause I was completely incapable of dressing myself today so I texted Gillian and she picked my clothes. Thank goddess for friends!

Here's Gill making sure I get a good pic of her outfit choice!  This is her favourite flowey black top of mine but today I decided to jazz it up with a belt for something different.

And the pleather leggings.  I honestly haven't been wearing leggings much.  I'm trying to break the habit!!  But every once in a while....they gotta come out!

So it's hard to see....but I'm wearing little round toe ankle boots with a chunky, cowboy boot style heel.  Also, legwarmers  Mostly cause my ankles are sooooo scrawny that they look silly in ankle boots!

The bling bling.  My favourite earrings....I try and wear others, but these ones work with EVERYTHING.

Wednesday November 2...pms ftw!

Tuesday again?  How do the weeks fly by?!?  So this week, I have all grand plans to eat well, and not drink (too much) red wine during the week.  We have a big event this Saturday and I wanna be able to dress all up and feel good!  I'm also pms'ing this week so I'm bloated and gross and grumpy so we'll see how it goes!  Today I'm going for comfort!  Stretchy, soft, elastic!  Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

So my stretchiest softest leggings, gray tank, soft black super stretchy ruched shirt from Nicole and flat over the knee suede boots.

My necklace.  I added the little bird on there.  I used to also have a bigger bird that I wore on just a chain but my friggen kids snapped it's wings off....soooo....speaking of wings....

Just little bat wings.

The feather earrings.  And a little gray bow but you can't really see it.

And the boots.  Over the knee.  Flat.  Comfy.  Like little suede hugs for my legs!





Wednesday Nov 2 starts off with a small lie.

I've been off since Saturday.....well, I worked a smidge on Tuesday but it was late at night and dark and I was pretty uninspired.  Okay okay okay....truth??  I wore the same thing on Tuesday as I did on Wednesday.  *GASP*  So here's the story.....I stayed in my pj's ALL day on Tuesday because I had some cancellations etc so I spend the day getting stuff done at the house blah blah blah....so I changed just in time to go to work for my client at 4:30 and then for my other client at 6pm.  So I was at work from 4:30-9pm.  Now my 2 clients are the only ones who saw me....except Gill...but she was only around for half hour or so.  And I did ask her opinion the next morning if I could get away with wearing the same thing again and this is what she said...

Me "I can wear the same thing I wore

yesterday right?  That didn't really

count as work right?"

Gill "Yes you may...strictly cuz I saw you

less then 4 hours and im nearly positive you wore your pjs

up until the point you had to leave the house"

So there you have it.  So here's my Tuesday Wednesday outfit!

Okay now before you get all up in my grill about it being a staple outfit....in my defence, I was wearing a lovely dress underneath the black baggy shirt!  It was colourful and patterned.  But it was REALLY cold at work (I even have clients who can stand behind me on that!) so I wore the black over it to stay warm.  It was a survival tactic, not just a comfort in black thing.  Sooo....

This is the pattern.  It's more green....but alas, it was dark when I took the pic and I used my flash on my iphone, which sucks.

Here's the dress SANS black thing on top!  See...I would have froze!  So you're all welcome that I thought ahead to cover up a bit.

I even wore a cutsey purple leather bow in my hair!  Feather earring and cat eyes!  Meow!





Wednesday Oct 19- boring but wait till tomorrow!

And it's Wednesday!  Okay..yes really it's Saturday...but I have one more boring pic of the week to get through before I post my SUPER MEGA COLOUR outfit that I wore this week!  I thought I'd save that posting for real world Sunday cause it's pretty much going to be a holy occasion.  I also realized I don't have a picture of Thursday Oct 20th's outfit....nor can I remember what I wore?!?  That's really odd!  Anybody remember what I wore on Thursday??? 

So black baggy shirt......jeans....ugly black elf boots......belt and my wedding ring necklace.

Okay so I forgot about these jeans.  I only own 3 pairs that fit me right now and these were on the bottom of the pile of leggings I guess!  They are Big Star and I actually really like them.  The whiskering/distressing on the legs isn't as prominent in real life...the flash just really picked them up for some reason!

AND this is the week next week so far!  Still needing a couple more suggestions...

Tuesday Oct 25th - as much colour as possible (or is as little black as possible okay?)
Wednesday Oct 26th - sequins (the exact request was for "motherfucking sequins")
Thursday Oct 27th - a coloured scarf or coloured accessories instead of silver/gold

I also got a suggestion to wear my Halloween costume.  Now, I would wear it to work, but there's lots of ways to ruin clothing at work so I don't want to wear it before I wear it out Saturday night.  But I could probably do a version of my costume, but not wear my actual costume?  Maybe that's not as exciting......what do you think?

And sorry, I won't be wearing a "big bird hat"....not sure what that even means.

It's Wednesday! And Vision shirt day!

Ah it's Wednesdays fashion post!  Okay so you may have noticed Tuesday is missing...or not.  But I was off on Tuesday (I demanded a long weekend!) so I didn't bother taking a picture.  Things were not looking awesome!  But today it was a bright and sunny day so I decided heck with pants!  Heck with them!!  Here be the Wednesday October 12th outfit!

Okay so I had gotten comments on my last dress of things like "Finally no pants!" so I decided to dig out the skirts!  So looking at this now, it's probably a little short for work.  I usually wear tights underneath it so it doesn't ride up, but it was riding up today!  But thanks to some help from Gill at work, it kept getting tugged down...where it needed to be!  Seriously, there was a time where my hands were full and she tugged it down. 

Here's a little closer detail of the belt/skirt.  It's super comfy stretchy.  And yes...black and grey.  Which seems to be my colours of choice.  Yes, I'm terrified of colour.

Okay so imagine this isn't in a mirror.  These tee-shirts are the tee shirts my dad's band had back in the 80's!  VISION is the band and it's like blasting out of an eyeball.  The tee shirts are super comfy and totally cute!  We had these black and white ones made up and we have white with black (the original colours) as well.  We made them for a concert that my dads band got back together for (after 24 years) and played at the Element.  It totally sold out!  We have them in men's version too and they are either white with black, or heather grey with black.  Me and my husband loves these shirts and have a gazillion each.  They are super nice fitting!  Anyone want one?  They could be yours for only $10 each!  I think we have some of every size left over....as well as a light grey kids size ones.  We had all of our middle sons soccer team wearing them last year!  Let me know!  We'll ship!

Wednesday Oct 5th

So Tuesday this week Gill and I go thrift shopping....which is one of our FAVORITE past times!  As soon as we walk in, Gill has found something for me!  She hands them to me with a "you're welcome" and it's a super awesome find!!  So of course, today, I had to wear the item!  So today I have on a long black tank, a flowey bat-wing type black knit top, animal print leggings, wedge heel mary janes and a long strand of pearls.  Which came from the thrift store?

PS - I totally loved this outfit!  A new fav FOR SURE!
